Wallace College was established in 1972 and is still owned and run by the same Scottish family. It is located in the heart of the historic Old Town of Edinburgh at the top of the Royal Mile, close to the historical sites of Edinburgh Castle, St Giles' Cathedral and Holyrood Palace. The new visitor attractions of the Scottish Parliament Building, the recently expanded and refurbished National Museum of Scotland and Our Dynamic Earth Science Museum are all only a few minutes walk from the College.
The College is open throughout the year and offers a varied programme of Academic Courses, English Language Courses and Activity Programmes. We have wi-fi in the College and recreational space for students to use during breaks. We are a family business providing a friendly, efficient and personal service.
We can arrange accommodation for both students who are taking English courses and also for students following academic courses. We have a large network of local host families available to take students throughout the year. We also have very good contacts with local guest houses and hotels. In the summer months, including during the International Festival, we can offer self-catering apartments very close to the city centre.
