Easter Revision Courses At Wallace College - 2008

Every Easter holiday for the past 28 years, Wallace College has run Revision Courses for Standard Grade and Higher examinations. Courses for GCSE examinations are also available and we offer private tuition for AS and A2 examinations.

These courses are extremely popular. They provide excellent coverage of the core syllabus in each subject, expert advice on exam technique and an informal, encouraging atmosphere in which to tackle problem areas and prepare mentally for the task ahead. For many students our Revision Courses are far more effective (and enjoyable!) than solitary home-based revision.

The courses offer students

• an effective revision programme in a particular subject
• tuition and guidance from an experienced teacher
• practice in answering examination questions
• the opportunity to obtain help with their own particular difficulties
• small groups - maximum class size 12 for SQA courses and 5 for GCSE courses
• daily assignments which are corrected and returned

For Scottish Highers, Intermediate, Standard Grades and GCSE subjects a single course consists of daily tutorial sessions each of 2 hours duration including a short break.

For AS and A2 candidates the Easter Revision programme is arranged on a one-to-one basis.
